About
Hanne is a Calgary based theatre designer with European roots.
She obtained a BFA in costume design from Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design, and a MFA in scenography from the Technical University in Berlin.
Hanne worked across Europe, including on The White Night Festival of Saint Petersburg in Russia and the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music in Austria, before she called Calgary home.
Select design credits include: The Tall Building (Handsome Alice Theatre); Skylight, The Shoplifters (Theatre Calgary); The Three Musketeers, Macbeth (Shakespeare Company); Sextet (Verb Theatre); Cinderella, The Magic Flute (Calgary Opera); Bea, Shakespeare’s Will (Sage Theatre); Children's Corner (State Opera Berlin); Attila (Mariinsky Theatre); and Three Sisters (Stage Entertainment Amsterdam).
Hanne is a member of the Associated Designers of Canada.
